The pumpkin katsu and grilled vegetable gyoza were great, as was the fresh mint tea. The service was really attentive and polite. The teriyaki tofu soba was ok, it lacked in flavour a bit and there wasn’t enough tofu. Overall a good experience for fast Japanese food from a chain. There are a few vegan options, which is great. And I love that they don’t label things vegetarian AND vegan, the ‘v’ means vegan and that simplifies things massively.We actually came in because it said there was a discount through January, sadly we didn’t get a discount. But if you’re looking for fast food, I’d recommend here instead of Wendy’s or whatever junk that is nearby. It is expensive though, which makes me want to go to an independent Japanese restaurant - but at a quick glance of the mall, this was the only one nearby.
