Had a lovely experience, served by Trusha, a very helpful and welcoming employee. The food was so good, I even came back a second time that week!

Absolutely my go to Japanese restaurant in Bristol whenever I visit for a gig or show. TRUSHA, our waitress was so lovely, friendly and welcoming. Love that if you book ahead you can sit in the little snug area at the end. A real treat coming over last weekend for a bit of Wake the Tiger, Popmart shopping (!), Yakinori and Bristol Old Vic for A Midsummer Night's Dream. My daughter's first time, my treat. She often goes to Japanese restaurants, cooks it and loves it and she rated this highly. Great food, quick cooking, good price. Lychee lemonade is just lush and I don't generally like any fruit drinks! All staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. Worth the walk up Park Street.
Last time I had Karaage Fried Chicken
Japanese chilli mayo. spring onion + red ginger as a starter, should have had it as a main as it was gorgeous! My daughter had the chicken Katsu, which she loved and the teriyaki bao buns, loved that too. . On other occasions my grandson had the teriyaki bap buns and I had the beautiful tempura prawns and veggie gyoza, all wonderful, very tasty.

Top notch Japanese food with punchy flavours, a lovely environment and great service.

Great place for a clean and nutritious vegan meal! One of the best options out there in Bristol for a quick healthy lunch, which doesn't feel like a takeaway spot as it's a proper sit down little place. We got a make your own tempeh poke bowl and it was scrumptious - thank you!!

Lovely food, very clean place over all and the staff were very nice. It was very quiet during my visit (11:30ish on a Saturday morning) which was a pleasant surprise.

A little pricey but very good portion sizes.

Nice place, food was very good however the lotus crisps were overdone and inedible. We had a lovely waitress called Trusha who was so helpful and smiley! Recommend for a casual place to eat 🍴

I’ve ordered a couple times and it’s always been great!

It was my first time eating here, the sushi was delicious, and the service by the lovely Trusha made it an even more wonderful experience. Will definitely come back when I’m craving Japanese food!
